Youth Jury / Media Bridge
MediaBridge is a 5-week summer youth program bringing together young filmmakers ages 15-19 from around the world to collaborate with local youth on film programming, screenwriting and production. The MediaBridge team will view films entered for youth in the Chicago International Children's Film Festival and coordinate a special youth-curated screening of innovative youth-produced films, as well as adult-produced films from 20 countries. Jury participants will then become MediaBridge leaders for the purpose of instructing other children and youth in critical thinking, production and close analysis. -
Facets Film School
Each season Facets Multi-Media offers Facets Film School, a selection of evening film theory classes over a 6-week period. Classes may focus on a director, a genre, culture or history. For a complete listing of Facets Film School classes, visit our website at: Facets Film School -
Volunteer
Some of the exciting benefits of volunteering with the CICFF include: meeting the celebrities and filmmakers who attend Festival events, helping children learn about media, helping them create their own animated and live action videos and having the opportunity to view many of the over 200 films and videos screened at the CICFF each year!
